Big shoutout to Malcolm Mitchell, former UGA/New England Patriot superstar and the dedicated team at Share the Magic Foundation on hosting yet another incredible evening this past Saturday night at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Malcolm and his team are changing thousands of young lives by advocating children’s literacy, particularly those in under-resourced communities, to discover the joys of reading. The foundation offers various programs including virtual reading challenges like READBowl, READCamp, and READMarathon, in-school initiatives, corporate engagement opportunities, and matching grants. Former UGA players, Aaron Murray, Chris Conley, and Mohamed "Mo" Massaquoi, among many others, were in attendance and assisted throughout the evening with activities including both a silent and live auction with all proceeds benefiting the children, an awards presentation for educators of the year, as well as great food and drink. We are excited to watch Malcolm’s vision continue to grow for years to come.
