Fun fact of the day! In the early 1920s, winter highway services were not yet established, and the importance of snow removal and road resurfacing hadn't been fully realized by the public. As a result, Minnesota lacked the necessary resources for winter road care. Before the state implemented a formal snow-removal program in 1926, severe winters often left communities isolated, with communication between cities disrupted. #JeffersonLines stepped in to fill this critical gap, pioneering consistent snow removal on major highways, thus providing a vital and previously unmet service to the community. 100+ winters later, and Jefferson Lines is still here to take you where you need to go.
