Mark your calendars: The new Doris Duke Theatre opens its doors to an internationally acclaimed inaugural season of artists, as announced today. “At a time where there is a crisis of ambition in our country because of a lack of resources, the fact that we’re going to be able to support artists — that is something,” Pam Tatge in today’s New York Times. We’re thrilled to welcome our first audiences starting in July 2025 as artists like Faye Driscoll, Shamel Pitts, Andrew Schneider, Elle Sofe Company (Norway), Eun-Me Ahn (Korea), and Huang Yi (Taiwan) take the stage. Beyond the stage, Andrew Schneider and Shamel Pitts will create digital-first works viewable anywhere in the world. Read all about it in The New York Times: https://lnkd.in/eG6cMi4W

Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival reposted this
Featured Pilot Organization: Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival Jacob's Pillow is located in Becket, MA. They are lauded worldwide as a “hub and mecca of dancing” (TIME Magazine), “one of America’s most precious cultural assets” (Mikhail Baryshnikov), and “the dance center of the nation” (The New York Times). Jacob's Pillow was an organization that brought a lot of experience and a history of commitment to accessibility as they've been working to make their events and spaces more accessible. We are so grateful for their perspective and feedback and can't wait to share updates on how they're using their learning from the Arts & Culture Accessibility Self-Assessment Tool. The Arts & Culture Accessibility Self-Assessment Tool was designed for organizations of all types, sizes, locations, and at all stages in their accessibility journey. And it's FREE!
