The demand for gamete and embryo freezing has seen a significant rise in recent years, with 65% of IVF professionals globally reporting a marked increase in demand over the past five years. This surge is attributed to several factors, including advancements in reproductive technology, a growing awareness of fertility preservation options, and changing societal trends. IVF professionals have observed that an increasing number of individuals, particularly those delaying childbearing for personal or professional reasons, are seeking to freeze their gametes or embryos as a means of securing future fertility. Additionally, improvements in cryopreservation techniques and the growing acceptance of fertility preservation as a standard part of reproductive care have contributed to the rise in demand. As the trend continues, IVF professionals are adapting their practices to meet the needs of this growing population, ensuring that patients have access to the latest advancements in fertility preservation.
