On December 7th, 1941, the Japanese military launched a surprise attack on the US naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack lasted about two hours and resulted in significant devastation. Over 2,400 Americans were killed, nearly 1,200 were wounded and numerous ships and aircraft were damaged or destroyed. The attack on Pearl Harbor shocked the United States and marked a pivotal moment in World War II, thrusting us deep into a war we hoped to avoid. Today is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, an incredibly significant and weighty event in our history, commemorated for its impact on those Americans and their families, as well as its effect on the events of the Second World War. If you are a descendant of someone who previously served or died in service, ISR Task Force would like to thank your service member and their families for their sacrifice.
