🎅🎄 Echo Here! I had a quiet moment to myself today to really get to know the ICN’ amazing fiber optic network and how it reach all sorts of people all over the state in both rural and urban communities. With over 3,400 miles of cable, it’s like a giant glowing Christmas tree stretching across the state. I did the math, it would take 17,952,000 Christmas elves laying end to end to stretch across all that fiber. I don’t think we even have that many elves in the north pole! #workatICN

ICN's Scott Pappan joined the #IowaSYBAC session to talk about critical infrastructure and the tech we use every day. The session also featured two students who brought up AI topics, sparking a discussion on its real-world uses, effects on our lives and careers, education, and how it shapes the future of businesses and markets as AI keeps advancing.

🎅🎄 Echo Here! I had a jolly time being Jodi’s special assistant elf today. She’s a real-life Christmas miracle, bringing cheer to every call she takes as the state operator for Iowa and the ICN. It’s really cool how the ICN emphasizes personal connections, even with all the tech we have these days. I even got to help transfer calls by pushing the buttons myself! We had a lot of laughs, especially when I accidentally sent a call to Santa's Reindeer Vet instead of the IowaDNR! Whoops! #workatICN
