Medical Assistant: Looking for a Medical Assistant to start immediately at an established Psychiatry and Pain Management practice. 1. Receive phone calls from patients and schedule appointments. 2. Return patient calls for medication requests and call pharmacy, carry out prior authorizations etc. 3. Call insurance for authorization of procedures, medications and follow up on invoices. 5. Carryout routine clinic related tasks in the office. 6. Assist the physician in the procedure room including C-Arm management. 7. Call and set up meetings for the physician at different medical offices. Coordinate marketing meetings and take care of all the items necessary for such meetings. 9. Manage other secretarial and administrative roles as required by the management. The role will be divided across 2 different locations in Tarrant county and will involve travel locally. This is a Full time position. Health insurance available.
