These workers are responsible for loading and unloading container ships at ports from Maine to Texas. The union is fighting for a 77% pay increase over 6 years and they want to avoid automation in favor of keeping manual labor jobs. Somebody should talk to uncle Joe when he wakes up at noon today and let him know that our supply chains are about to get jacked worst than Covid.
