We read every day that demand for energy is growing, and it’s no secret that energy tax credits fuel investment in U.S. energy infrastructure to meet it. The American Clean Power Association (ACP)’s latest report underscores the criticality of maintaining these tax credits – and more importantly a stable policy environment – in order to drive America’s ability to establish energy independence and create jobs and economic benefits across the U.S. At Invenergy, we’re proud to play a leading role in this transformation as we work to deliver projects that make our energy systems more reliable and secure. The U.S. electricity grid is struggling to keep up with skyrocketing energy demand. We’re working on the technology solutions needed to rise to the challenge: new transmission lines. North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)’s 10-year forward assessment highlights the reliability risks of rapidly growing power demand from data centers and manufacturing growth in the U.S. New generation projects—and the transmission lines necessary to transport that energy—are crucial to ensuring more reliable, affordable energy meets U.S. demand. The work we’re doing today is essential to our energy security in the future. Read more via E&E News: https://lnkd.in/gNQ9db3x

Construction is underway on Invenergy’s Hashknife Solar Energy Center in Navajo County, Arizona! This 475 MW solar + storage energy center will power over 110,000 homes and is one of the largest solar facilities in the state. Hashknife will create hundreds of jobs during construction, invest over $100M into the community, and strengthen Arizona’s clean energy future. We celebrated this milestone with our partners at Arizona Public Service - APS and local leaders, and honored the Navajo County Sheriffs Posse Search and Rescue with a donation during the groundbreaking event.

Congratulations to Invenergy President & Co-Founder, Jim Murphy, who was recently named chair of the Board of American Clean Power Association (ACP)'s Clean Power Institute.
I'm pleased to announce that I will be chairing the Board of American Clean Power Association (ACP)'s Clean Power Institute (CPI), a nonprofit organization devoted to education, awareness, and critical skills development for good jobs in the growing US clean energy sector. Demand for our domestic energy sources is growing at an unprecedented rate in order to serve new manufacturing facilities, AI/data centers and electric heating, cooling and transportation. All energy sources are urgently needed to meet this need, which is creating a multitude of new career opportunities in clean energy, which will be a critical contributor to the energy supply. Invenergy understands the importance of a powerful training infrastructure for current and prospective employees and the value of hiring locally for good-paying jobs. That's exactly the approach the CPI is taking to expand clean energy jobs training, which will be essential for American energy independence. I invite you to learn more, get involved, or find opportunities to advance a clean energy career on the CPI site: cleanpowerinstitute.org
