At Intrinsic Digital, managing people isn't the only path to a promotion. Over the past nine months, we've been restructuring our organizational chart, adding layers of management to elevate the team responsible for client work. Simultaneously, we've been building out a lattice structure that promotes continual growth for individual contributors. This approach will provide team members with the opportunity to hone their craft further. A lattice structure allows employees to communicate and collaborate across different levels, departments, and functions without the formal constraints of a traditional top-down hierarchy. I view management as an inverted pyramid, where leadership and the executive team exist to serve the team. Adding a layer of management isn’t about placing people above others; it’s about creating a support system that lifts the team up and better equips them to deliver outstanding work for our clients.

Is anyone else feeling the end-of-year crunch? The pressure to wrap up all your projects before the clock runs out can be overwhelming sometimes. Here are a few ways we recommend taking care of your mental health: 1) Move the body- Get up from chair and use a walking pad with a standing desk. 2) Stretch It Out- Loosen up tense muscles with a quick stretch or yoga move. 3) Grab a Healthy Snack or Hydrate- Drink water or have a healthy snack to refuel. 4) Take a Digital Detox- Step away from screens for a bit. Look out a window, focus on nature, or even close your eyes for a mini sensory break. 5) Reconnect with Your Why- If you're feeling overwhelmed by tasks, remind yourself why you're doing the work. Reconnecting with your purpose or long-term goals can shift your mindset. 6) Delegate or Prioritize- After your break, look at your to-do list. Identify one or two high-priority items to focus on and see if anything can be delegated.
