We're excited to highlight our 2024 Global Rising Stars and all that they have accomplished. Today, we are spotlighting Gemma Hay, Manager of Global Franchise Marketing at Mattel, Inc., giving you a look at her day-to-day activities as a licensor. Gemma always starts her day with a cup of mint tea and a smoothie before diving into her emails or meetings. As a manager on Mattel's Global Franchise Marketing team, she is responsible for building global brand and franchise brands. From reading scripts and being on set to crafting strategies, pitching licensees, and reviewing creative, no two days are the same. She loves that her role allows her to express her creative side whilst also building strategies for profitable growth. Every day is different, which keeps her energized and motivated. #licensing #risingstar

The non-alcoholic category is one of the fastest-growing verticals in the beverage market but, unlike the cannabis category (which has experienced a similar bump in popularity), it has yet to land many major licensing deals. That could change, however, as sales of non-alcoholic beverages are forecast to increase 6% annually through 2027 (in comparison, sales of alcoholic beverages are expected to be relatively flat over the same period). Much of this growth is being driven by younger consumers, with Millennials making up the majority of non-alcoholic beer consumers (61%), non-alcoholic wine consumers (59%), and non-alcoholic spirit consumers (66%). https://lnkd.in/epPK-xTG
