As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Interco, the technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the interior and exterior of our facilities, fixtures, appliances, and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for setting up, installing, and maintaining our production equipment and machinery. Perform general facility maintenance on interior and exterior buildings, fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Maintain, set up, install, and repair production equipment and machinery. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation. Identify and repair faulty equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety requirements. Work independently on assigned maintenance work orders and assist other maintenance personnel as needed. Additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor. Qualifications: Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Proactive self-starter who can work independently. Understanding of equipment drawings, technical manuals, blueprints, wiring schematics, and engineering specifications. Ability to perform general facility and equipment repairs. Experience with 460v 3 phase Electric service. General proficiency with welding and fabrication. Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, or trade school coursework, or proven educational background in required disciplines. Attention to detail is critical.
