Founded by Ché B., a Black American #veteran who had the rare privilege to witness humanity’s greatest achievements in space exploration firsthand—thanks to his father, General Charles F Bolden Jr, a #SpaceShuttle #astronaut and former NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Administrator—our institute envisions equitable access and equal opportunity in the business of space. We foster innovation and inclusivity by uniting emerging leaders and enthusiasts in space and STEM+AD (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics + Art and Design). In 2024, our mission was to show up in non-traditional forums and welcome people into the business of space. We have: • March: Hosted three panels at South By Southwest SXSW, engaging a diverse audience in meaningful discussions. • Since April: Created over 30 episodes of the podcast ‘Your Business In Space’, showcasing the diverse range of opportunities in the space industry. • Hosted an online event attended by over 100 participants from 20+ countries, fostering global connections. • November: Partnered with COSMIC - The Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities to host an event in Chantilly, Virginia, bringing together educators, investors, students, space professionals, and space legends to explore the unique dynamics of a multigenerational workforce. • December: Looking forward to another event in El Segundo, CA, empowering underrepresented tech visionaries in the business of space. Bolden and peers like Dr. Kathy Sullivan, a fellow NASA astronaut and former NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration Administrator, we are committed to making space accessible to everyone.
