As brands move to natural ingredients and sustainable formulas, formulators have identified a new gap in their ingredient portfolio: natural solubilizers. Traditional solubilizers though effective, are usually petrochemical-derived and ethoxylated. While naturally-derived solubilizers have historically lacked efficacy. In some cases, the solubilizers that are effective cause preservation ingredients to lose efficacy.
