Imagine this: a patient’s order is created, and within moments, the patient gets a call to schedule their appointment. No more waiting for a fax to be seen, sorted, or—worst of all—lost in the shuffle.   Here’s the difference:  ✅ Automated workflows allow 60–70% of referrals to sail through without human intervention. ✅ Faster scheduling means happier patients and fewer missed appointments. ✅ And yes, it all ties back to what matters: better revenue and patient satisfaction.   Automation doesn’t just streamline; it elevates the entire experience—for both patients and providers.   I’ve got more thoughts in this podcast: https://lnkd.in/dJQDEDCQ

How much time does your team spend verifying insurance during patient check-ins? For Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Autumn Maloney the shift to automated insurance verification has been a game-changer. With outdated information and manual errors no longer clogging up the workflow, her team can focus on patient care, not paperwork. This process ensures that only when insurance changes do they need to reverify—saving time, reducing reschedules, and creating a smoother experience for everyone. Check out the full explanation from Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute’s Autumn Maloney! #Oncology #InsuranceVerification #PatientAccess #RCMAutomation

Bringing new physicians into a practice? One thing I’ve seen time and again is that onboarding them effectively can make or break your denial rates. Here’s what I recommend: Start with billing and coding orientation sessions. Even a quick onboarding can help new providers adjust their documentation and coding to align with your specific payer and EMR requirements. This goes a long way in avoiding early, preventable denials. Host monthly ‘coding roundtables.’ These sessions are where the magic happens. By reviewing recent denials together, your clinical and billing teams can address patterns, clarify documentation needs, and adjust processes. It’s a simple but powerful way to keep everyone aligned, reduce denials, and keep revenue on track. New providers bring incredible value—but a little structure in the onboarding process ensures their impact is positive for both patient care and practice revenue.

Norwest Venture Partners recently published their 2025 Predictions, and selfishly one point by Shiv Chaudhary stood out: "AI-enabled services will transform revenue cycle management in the healthcare industry by increasing efficiency, automating complex tasks, and improving processes like claims management and reimbursements." Shiv’s prediction aligns with what we’re already seeing at Infinx. AI-powered solutions are helping healthcare organizations reduce manual workloads, improve claims processing, and streamline reimbursements. With shrinking margins and growing complexities, providers need tools that not only solve today’s challenges but also anticipate tomorrow’s needs. If you’re curious about where else Norwest predicts healthcare and AI are headed, I recommend checking out the full article. Link in comments. What trends do you see impacting healthcare in the next year?
