Members of the Rural Indiana Screening for Colorectal Cancer (RISCC) grant team delivered holiday gift baskets to Greene County Rural Health Clinics that are participating in a 5-year study to improve colorectal cancer screening in rural Indiana. My Bloomfield Clinic, My Westgate Clinic, and My Worthington Clinic will each implement a screening program in 2024, 2025, and 2026, respectively. RISCC team members celebrated My Bloomfield Clinic with a graduation ceremony to commend the clinic staff on completing their first year of implementation and to recognize all their accomplishments focused on increasing colorectal cancer screening in their community. RISCC team members represented were Amanda Bishop (Implementation Specialist, IU School of Nursing), and Indiana Rural Health Association staff members: Tina Elliott, Heather Grable, and Ally Orwig. RISCC is a program of the Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Indiana Rural Health Association.
