New year, same mission: IBAI is dedicated to advancing racial equity in Illinois. Learn more about IBAI and how we: 1.) Support aligned organizations to expand opportunities for Black Illinoisans and build Black political power. 2.) Equip civic and philanthropic leaders with the resources they need to ensure their initiatives are inclusive of and benefit Black Illinoisans. 3.) Develop and advocate for policies that drive positive social change for Black communities across the state.

Our work is focused on breaking silos to build collective power, ensuring that our public systems support Black communities, and creating the conditions for Black people to dictate and advance the policies that impact our lives. The Peoria Black Worker Justice & Wellness Center is here to uplift and build power in our communities. 🌟 They're conducting a survey to better understand the needs and priorities of Black workers in Peoria, and your support is vital! 🖤 This survey is for Black workers and communities in Peoria. We ask if folks can share with your networks and community to assist our partner 'Peoria Black Worker Justice & Wellness Center partners.' This center will be a cornerstone for addressing workplace justice, wellness, and community building—key to fostering Black power and self-determination.
