Stacey Jenkins, Director of CDC’s Division of Jurisdictional Support, shares what excited her most about this year’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) Reverse Site Visit. CDC’s investment through PHIG is enabling recipients to modernize their data systems to improve data storage, track health outcomes, and improve connections between different health centers. For example, New Hampshire is supporting advanced electronic information exchange and laboratory reporting with neighboring states. This is strengthening surveillance within the region.
