Although our 12 Days of Christmas officially concluded yesterday, we couldn’t resist spreading a little extra holiday cheer. This year, we surprised one more deserving hero, bringing our total Christmas Miracles to 13! ✨ This holiday season, we had the privilege of surprising Master Sergeant Paul Davis at his workplace, thanks to the heartfelt collaboration of his colleagues and leadership at Luke Air Force Base. As one of our 12 Days of Christmas Miracles recipients, MSgt Davis represents the courage, resilience, and dedication that inspire us all. MSgt Davis has served our country with distinction for 16 years. Yet, this year has brought him and his family unimaginable pain. In September, his eldest daughter, Jada, tragically passed away in a heartbreaking accident when a tow hitch detached from a passing vehicle. The loss has left an indelible mark on MSgt Davis and his two younger children, Jayla and Josiah, as they navigate this profound grief. MSgt Davis, we honor your service and your strength. Our hope is that these gifts bring warmth, love, and light to your family this holiday season. 💙 A huge thank you to HFH Affiliate Laura Roman for helping to create this magic. This belief rings true, especially during the holiday season, and it was an absolute privilege to be a part of bringing some extra cheer to a deserving hero, Tamra Wolff. Tamra, a dedicated Marble Falls ISD employee and foster parent, always puts others first. Through to Homes for Heroes’ 12 Days of Christmas Miracles program, we were able to surprise her with gifts thoughtfully chosen just for her: new clothes, a professional house cleaning, gift cards for a getaway with her husband, and a little extra spending money, all with Ruth's help along the way. 🎄 12 Days of Christmas Miracles 🎄 Today, we honor Pamela Soni, a long-time emergency room nurse and an extraordinary Healthcare Hero who has spent her life caring for others. This year has been especially heartbreaking for Pamela, as she tragically lost her 19-year-old son, Teddy, in May. Even in his passing, Teddy continued his legacy of generosity by donating his organs to save others. As a single mom who raised three amazing children while tirelessly working ER shifts, Pamela’s resilience and kindness inspire everyone who knows her. To help bring some joy to Pamela and her family this Christmas, we delivered: A new 65" flatscreen smart TV with a wall mount for her family to enjoy together. A $200 Visa gift card to assist with any last-minute holiday needs. This gift was made possible through the 12 Days of Christmas Miracles, and we are truly grateful to have played a part in spreading some cheer during this difficult time. Pamela’s selflessness and strength remind us of the sacrifices our healthcare heroes make every day. It’s an honor to support her and celebrate her unwavering dedication to others. Pamela, we hope this small gesture brings a bit of comfort and light to you and your family this holiday season. 🎄 12 Days of Christmas Miracles 🎄 Today, we’re honored to share the story of Alyssa Love and her family. This year has been unimaginably difficult for Alyssa, who tragically lost her husband, Deputy Sheriff Lex Allen Love, in the line of duty. Lex’s passing has left a deep void in their family, but Alyssa’s strength and resilience shine through as she navigates this challenging time with her children. When asked how we could support her, Alyssa thoughtfully expressed her desire to upgrade her kids’ beds, a practical and meaningful way to improve their everyday lives. We were able to order and deliver: A cozy bunk bed with mattresses and bedding A gift card to help cover the cost of a new bed frame In total, we provided $600 in support to bring comfort and care to Alyssa and her children this holiday season. Though distance and circumstances prevented an in-person delivery, the joy of being able to ease Alyssa’s burdens and bring some Christmas spirit to her family was incredibly moving. Alyssa’s gratitude and thoughtfulness were a reminder of the power of community and compassion. Deputy Sheriff Lex Love’s legacy will never be forgotten, and we are humbled to support his family during this time. 🎄 12 Days of Christmas Miracles 🎄 Today, we share the heartfelt story of Amy, a U.S. Army Veteran whose journey has been marked by immense challenges and incredible resilience. After enduring a traumatic end to her military career and overcoming unimaginable personal struggles, including homelessness and the tragic loss of her ex-partner, Amy is now rebuilding her life. With her six children by her side, she has secured a small home and recently returned to work following surgery. Through the 12 Days of Christmas Miracles campaign, we were honored to provide Amy and her family with $1,000 in support—$600 from Homes for Heroes and $400 from the Colkitt Family donation—along with a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts to brighten their holiday season. Some of the goodies delivered to Amy included: Bath sugar scrubs Nike shoes A Christmas tree with a topper A video camera A Gforce graphics card for gaming Airsoft guns and safety gear Hair products An automatic cat cleaner Gift-wrapping essentials When we arrived, Amy was overwhelmed with gratitude and joy, expressing how much this moment meant to her family. For the first time in years, Amy and her children are celebrating the holidays together, finding a renewed sense of hope and the promise of a brighter future.
