Homans Associates is the premier distributor of HVAC Equipment, Supplies and Mechanical Insulation products in the Northeast. We've been serving the contractor community since 1952 with locations across all of New England plus New York and New Jersey. Our logistics network includes over 80 trucks and almost 1 million square feet of distribution space. At Homans, we take our customers' success seriously. We utilize both Technology and People to create solutions for the challenges our customers face.. We have developed, partnered and invested in tools that propel their business forward.     Our Homans Associate Excellence Shoutout this week goes to Angela Bastien!      Nomination: “Angie is amazing! She is willing to help wherever and whenever needed. Being a recruiter, the job is not always happening during standard business hours. Many candidates need to be accommodated after hours, when they are not working, for phone interviews. Angie is always willing to meet their needs so that in turn it meets the company's needs to get the positions filled with the most qualified candidates.” Fun facts about Angela Bastien: Tell us about your background before Homans or growth within the organization: I began my career in recruiting in 2005 at a collection agency, where I initially served as a Client Service Representative. Over the course of 15 years, I advanced to the position of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist on the HR team and served as the backup to my HR Manager. To further my career, I joined Leddy Group as a Staffing Manager. Although I was not actively seeking new opportunities, I was approached by Homans. Following my initial interview with Julie and Tim, I was confident that this was the ideal organization for me. Place you'd like to visit that you haven't been to? I have always wanted to go to Ireland. What's your favorite season? Fall! The leaves are turning, the weather is beautiful, and the holidays are right around the corner. What’s your favorite Holiday and why? I love Halloween and all things spooky! Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them! Yes, I have a 10-year-old Rex bunny named Lola. She is our guard bunny, and she does her job well. How would you describe yourself in three words? I would describe myself as honest, hardworking, and caring. What is your favorite quote? One of my favorite quotes is "Believe you can and you're halfway there".

I worked 3 jobs before coming to Homans. What's the best place you've ever visited? Why? Home, I like home What do you do in your free time? Go Camping What's your favorite season? Fall If you could spend a day with one celebrity, who would it be and why? My granddaughter What’s your favorite Holiday and why? Christmas! (Jesus, family, and Church)

Nomination: “Jonathan has been working nonstop for the last few weeks going branch to branch as they have been short staffed. He has always been a team player and loves what he does. Customers love him and he goes above and beyond for them. No matter how difficult the task is, he makes sure he completes it to the best of his ability. Never seen someone put so much love and effort for Homans.” Fun facts about John:  What's the best place you've ever visited? Why? For now without a doubt, it would be Dubai. It is like living in the future because of how far advance they are in architectural building designs and technology are Place you'd like to visit that you haven't been to? I would love to go visit Japan their car and motorcycle scenic culture is out of this world ha-ha What is your dream car? This is easy a McLaren 720s What's your favorite season? Summertime baby !!
