Recently we attended the Humber STEM Event at #MKM #Hull #eastyorkshire continuing to inspire our #nextgeneration with enthusiasm and passion for #STEM. The level of engagement highlighted the incredible value of having the hands-on, practical activities which featured during the event. Feedback from students and teachers was overwhelmingly positive, with survey responses emphasised their enthusiasm for the interactive demonstrations, problem-solving challenges and discussions that deepened their interest/understanding in STEM subjects. 👩🏽🔧 100% of children shared that they learned something new. 👷🏽♀️ 100% of children feel motivated to explore STEM subjects further, especially into their GCSE studies. 😁 100% of children expressed that they thoroughly enjoyed the day. 👍🏽 Additionally, 3 out of 4 children stated they are now inspired to work for one of the companies leading today’s sessions. Sharon Stead, North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership Programme Lead explains that since working with #TLevel learners from Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire, the NEL HCP and Care Plus Group have benefitted from the integration of young students and staff within the workforce.
