This week, High Desert Heart & Vascular introduced the most state of the art non-invasive cardiovascular imaging tool to Idaho. We are making good on our promise to deliver excellence in individualized patient care to improve the health of our community. Introducing our PET/CT Scanner! PET/CT myocardial perfusion imaging is the preferred test for evaluating blood flow in the heart. Compared to standard nuclear SPECT imaging, it is safer, faster and more convenient, much more accurate, and it can detect microvascular problems in capillaries of the heart muscle of the heart which no other cardiac test can. Tomorrow we will highlight the benefits of this test for detecting heart disease and why it’s currently the best test in cardiology for predicting heart attacks.
