Thank you to everyone who came out and brought their friends and families to serve yesterday at SIRE-Therapeutic Horsemanship. We did everything from cleaning up the office to scooping horse manure to cutting down branches. What an amazing way for us to give back to others and be a blessing this season.

We've partnered with an amazing organization SIRE-Therapeutic Horsemanship, and members of the TXGC Chapter will be meeting at SIRE from 12-3 PM to build shelves in the grooming stalls, clear/update/maintain sensory trails, paint lines in the parking, etc….are the types of service projects we’ll be working on together. SIRE serves adults and children with a wide variety of special needs including, but not limited to cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, developmental delay, ADHD, as well as traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. Through equine-assisted activities and therapies, the SIRE riders experience the many benefits of therapeutic horsemanship.
