**Reflecting on an Incredible Experience at the Global Telco Conference** Having worked for global organizations for almost 2.8 decades, I've had the privilege of presenting at global forums/ strategy meetings to top management and Global CEOs, alongside individuals from diverse nationalities and with the highest levels of expertise. While speaking at international forums is not new to me, the recent Global Telco Conference ( in October 2024) organized by HeyInnovations was a unique experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. This conference marked an innovation in my approach to public speaking. My talk focused on how telcos can enable users to embrace AI, not by delving into technical details, but by offering food for thought on improving customer journeys and experiences. I shared insights from my recent travels to the USA, Australia, and Korea, highlighting how end-to-end AI assistance could have made data connectivity much easier. I used an analogy of farmers and soil preparation to symbolize the relationship between end customers and telcos. Just as farmers must prepare the soil to harvest the best yield, companies have a responsibility to upskill their consumers, offering them services within ethical boundaries and giving them the freedom to live healthy lives. This approach ensures customers have a healthy mind to use during the day, without reasons to stay up all night. I delivered my talk with a hint of humor to keep the audience engaged. During the Q&A session, I jokingly mentioned that if I used an AI-enabled phone to search for George P & Ellen from Hey Innovation, it might show me a young #AndreyAgassi, which brought smiles to the audience. The simplified examples I used during my presentation received a lot of likes and positive comments from the audience around the world, making the experience of getting live feedback truly heartening. It was an honor to connect with accomplished individuals from dozens of nationalities and to be part of a panel featuring some of the highest quality speakers from around the globe. A big shoutout to George P. and the team at Hey Innovation for their hard work over the months to bring this event together. Special thanks to my friends and distinguished colleagues, Badar Khushnood , a very learned man with amazing business acumen and a true friend of technology, and Ali Khan, a seasoned and skilled senior leader from a leading telco company in my country of origin, for helping me research the topic.
