🌾 A Landmark Moment for Farmers and Communities in Kenya! 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone for farmers and for Hello Tractor as we played a role in launching Kenya’s first farmer-owned and certified warehouse receipt system! Warehouse receipt systems are a game-changer in agricultural transformation. By providing secure storage, access to credit and financial services, reduced post-harvest losses, and price guarantees, these systems unlock new opportunities for farmers to thrive. They also ensure higher-quality produce, fostering trust in local and international markets. This launch, supported by the Warehouse Receipt System Council, the COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF NAKURU, FSD Kenya, IFC Africa, and KOMEX, is a shining example of farmer-centered innovation.
