The relationship between Product and Research is one of the most important collaborations towards building a truly user-centric product. I've been blessed to work with some of the best UR teams in the world at companies like Spotify and Netflix, but even then there are so many friction points and obstacles to building a functional and productive relationship between these two disciplines. We know Product Leaders and Researchers want the same thing: to build the best product possible that their customers will love. To help drive better collaboration, we partnered with User Interviews to create the first ever Product x Research Collaboration Report. Using HEARD, we interviewed 150 Product leaders about their triumphs, challenges and future hopes for working with Research. I'm so excited for this report because it captures everything that good research is about. We're surfacing unfiltered, honest insights that *will* help Product and Research teams work better together. And when that happens, companies, teams and customers all win. Check out the report and let us know what you think! And stay tuned for Part II in early 2025. Special thanks to Nick Lioudis and Ben Wiedmaier for their partnership on this report!
