Inspiring multicultural audiences to take actions that produce positive social change and a better quality of life.
About us
HCN (Hispanic Communications Network) has a unique hybrid model: we are a culturally driven social impact agency that also serves as the largest producer and syndicator of public interest content and programming for Spanish-language media in the US. HCN works exclusively with government, nonprofit, philanthropy, academic and CSR clients that match our mission to improve quality of life for US Latinx communities. Through our La Red Hispana multimedia networks and influencer personalities on radio, digital, social media, print and mobile platforms, HCN currently has a measured reach of 8+ million Latinx consumers in urban, mid-sized and rural Hispanic markets weekly. HCN is also developing networks of Hispanic-serving community organizations, stakeholders and promotores de salud to engage Hispanic/Latinx audiences via trusted voices both in the air and on the ground.

ICYMI: We attended the APHA Annual Meeting and Expo in Minneapolis this past week! This year, APHA reinforced our belief in the power of collaboration and empathy to advance public health. Excited we had the privilege of participating in two impactful sessions: - Champions Conversation VI: Empathy in Action: Transforming Public Health Messaging in a Polarized Era - An incredible panel including our own CEO, Alison Rodden and Jessica Malaty Rivera, MS from the Beaumont Foundation, Lauren Weber from The Washington Post, and Dr. Megan Ranney from Yale University. Together, they explored the critical need for empathy in our messaging and how to effectively communicate in today's divided landscape. - Restoring Trust in Public Health: Consumer Engagement Anchored in Trust and Accountability – our own LeShaundra Cordier joined Chelsea Cipriano, Asma Day, and Angie McGowan to discuss the importance of building a national movement for public health through strong partnerships and community engagement. Thank you to everyone involved for your dedication and insights! #APHA2024 #PublicHealth #EmpathyInAction #CommunityEngagement #ConferenceHighlights
