ICYMI: On Friday, we held our inaugural open house event! 🎉🏫 We were proud to be joined by Congressman John Larson, along with current students, graduates, instructors, and community partners. In addition to celebrating the achievements of the past nine months, we also previewed what's in store for HCHA's future. TODAY: Larson to Visit Harriott Community Healthcare Academy in Hartford’s North End Hartford, CT – On Friday, October 18th, 2024 at 11:00 AM, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) will visit the Harriott Community Healthcare Academy to meet with students and graduates of the healthcare educational program and discuss the Harriott Community Health Initiative’s work to advance health equity in Hartford and beyond. Students enrolled in the Community Healthcare Academy receive Certified Nursing Assistant education and certification and interested high school students can explore a future in the health care field through after-school programming. This supports the next generation of health care workers, addresses critical shortages in the nursing field, and connects more Connecticut residents with the high-quality health care they need.
