About the Award: The Selfless Service Award is a distinguished honor, nominated by peers. Colleagues identify and vote for fellow employee owners who embody our company’s values. This process ensures that the recognition is both meaningful and reflective of the collective appreciation for the recipient’s contributions. Michael exemplifies the values in HPC’s Purpose Statement through his numerous selfless actions. Hansen Plastics Corporation: Continuing to Support Our Partners at The Salvation Army During “All Volunteer Day!” #TheSalvationArmy #RedKettle #DoingTheMostGood #HansenPlasticsCorporation #ESOP #ManufacturingOurCulture #SelflessService We extend a heartfelt thank you to all our employee-owners and their families for generously volunteering their time this past weekend to support The Salvation Army’s “All Volunteer Day.” Over the years, our partnership with this organization has allowed Hansen Plastics Corporation (HPC) to engage in meaningful activities that reflect the values in our Purpose Statement, which emphasizes acts of selfless service, impacting society, and providing comfort and care, just to name a few. During the holiday season, we participate in several fundraising activities with The Salvation Army, such as Ring for 8 Feel Great, All Volunteer Day, and Angel Tree. These annual events, eagerly anticipated by our team, embody the spirit of HPC. Our colleagues and their families come together to play instruments, sing Christmas carols, and ring the bell, all in hopes of drawing the attention of bustling shoppers towards the iconic red kettle to donate. This event serves as a powerful teaching moment for our children, demonstrating that compassion and a willingness to volunteer can empower them to bring joy and happiness to others, a lesson that will inspire them throughout their lives. Hansen Plastics Corporation Supporting our Partners at The Salvation Army: "Ring for Eight Feel Great!" We had an incredible day kicking off the holiday season for The Salvation Army Elgin, IL. We are grateful for Woodman's Food Market, a fellow ESOP hosting this event again this year. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the community's kindness and generosity. Our dedicated volunteers will be back this Saturday, December 14th, outside Hobby Lobby at 200 S. Randall Rd., Elgin, IL, from 10 AM to 6 PM. If you're in the area, come join us for the "All-Volunteer Day" event! Our enthusiastic team will be ringing the festive bell and collecting donations in the iconic red kettle to support those in need in our community. Hansen Plastics is delighted to support local children in need through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program for the second year in a row. By donating presents, we help make children's Christmas wishes come true, providing them with toys and clothing from their wish lists. This cause is especially dear to our employees' hearts, who ensure each child's wish is fulfilled. There's nothing more rewarding than knowing we've made a child's holiday special. It's what makes this season so magical, don't you think?
