This holiday season, National Grid Renewables spread joy and brought the spirit of giving to life through meaningful volunteer projects, where team members worked together to make a difference for local nonprofits.
At SAINT THERESE AT OXBOW LAKE LLC, volunteers created a day filled with joy and connection for residents. They led engaging BINGO games, catered to seniors, aided residents in memory care in the activities, shared cheering conversations with residents, and went door to door to give hot cocoa to seniors who were unable to participate. To top it off, they made fleece-tied blankets to offer extra comfort during the chilly winter months.
At the Veterans Affairs Fisher House, volunteers prepared breakfast, made holiday treats, and delivered handmade fleece blankets and festive cards to veterans and their families who are staying at the Fisher House while receiving medical treatment from the VA. They also provided and assembled items for a brand-new self-care/spa room, ensuring a comforting space for guests to recharge during their stay.
At OASIS FOR YOUTH, the team helped set up a holiday celebration for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing a safe and festive space for joy and connection. They also supported administrative work, helping reorganize office spaces to keep operations running smoothly.
A heartfelt thank-you to National Grid Renewables for bringing joy, warmth, and care to the community this holiday season. Your dedication has touched lives and spread holiday cheer in the best possible way!
