Working forests support a wide variety of wildlife. 🌲🐾 That’s why our logging crews create bio-dens at harvest time—thoughtfully arranged slash piles that provide shelter and protection for wildlife. Bio-dens offer a temporary haven for critters like birds, small mammals, and even reptiles. These critter condos are just one of the ways we share the forest and act as good neighbors to the wildlife that visit our timberlands! #HamptonLumber #SustainableForestry #ForestStewards #HamptonFamForests

Seedlings are where sustainable forestry begins 🌱🌲. At nurseries, careful planning and strategy help ensure healthy forests for future generations. Seedlings often start their journey in a greenhouse, where conditions are carefully controlled for optimal growth in their early stages. Once strong enough, they move to bareroot fields, where they grow in natural conditions, developing the robust root systems needed to thrive when planted in the forest. This greenhouse-to-bareroot approach ensures the seedlings are strong, adaptable, and ready for reforestation—supporting clean air, healthy habitats, and renewable resources. It’s a small start for a big impact! 🌎 #SustainableForestry #HamptonFamilyForests #HamptonLumberJourney #ResponsibleForestry

Spotted in Cottage Grove, Oregon 🌲🏗️—Hampton Lumber is part of the rebuild at the historic Village Green Resort site! Originally opened in 1960 by W.A. Woodard, a leader in the timber industry, the Village Green Resort was a true testament to Oregon’s forest products. Built on 36 acres, it featured local Douglas fir beams, hemlock paneling, and cedar shakes. While the resort saw decades of decline and restoration, it’s now being redeveloped into a mix of apartments, an RV park, and commercial spaces, with plans to retain key parts of the property like the restaurant and conference center. A new chapter begins, and we’re proud to see Hampton Lumber in the mix—connecting Oregon’s forests to communities, both past and future. 📸 Rodney Trammel #HamptonLumberJourney #BuiltWithWood #OregonHistory #HamptonLumberWillamina #HamptonLumberTillamook

The US Forest Service has identified more than 20 million acres of forestland in need of treatment (logging, thinning, and/or controlled burns) to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire. Hampton participates in a number of U.S. Forest Service restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest. Recently, we joined USFS staff at the site of the Rotor Wash helicopter stewardship sale in Washington's Methow Valley - an opportunity for forest products industry experts to meet and discuss the project.

At around 10,000 feet, we think this sets the record for highest logo placement in Hampton history. Thanks to Tillamook saw filer, John Allen, for sharing this photo and representing Hampton Lumber so well at all elevations! #HamptonLumberTillamook
