Woohooo …. I got my hands on one ! 🛹 As I stand here with this Habito branded skateboard, a piece of our company's history, I'm reminded of the journey we’ve taken together. This skateboard was given to me by a superstar of a colleague, Mariam Irfan …… when I told her about my search to find one. 💜 While Habito embrace new business strategies, a renewed focus and with new leadership, I firmly believe that remembering where we started is super important. Each step forward is built on the foundation laid by those who came before us, and it’s this rich history that fuels our passion and drives us toward the future. 🚀 I know I am a sentimental old fool, but I see value in every piece of our story. Wow what an amazing night at the annual Habito Xmas party! 🎉 Massive thanks to Penny Desborough and Ying Tan for arranging such a great evening. You guys never disappoint! It was an evening filled with dancing, laughter, close up magic, great company, a legendary dance off, a few drinks and a very sore head (well worth it though) 😁 Was great to be able to celebrate the fantastic year we have had as a company and super excited to see what 2025 holds for us! 🚀 Not even January yet and I’m already looking forward to the next one… Ain’t no party like a Habito party! 🥳

What a way to wrap up the year! 🥳 The Habito annual awards and Christmas party wasn’t just a celebration of the festive season - it was a celebration of everything we’ve achieved together over the past 12 months. It’s been a tough year but a year of incredible growth, teamwork, and milestones that make me so proud to be part of this amazing team.❤️ This year, we’ve achieved so much. Setting up three new teams - the Specialist, Protection, and Mortgage Experience Team - was just a few of the highlights from 2024. Every single person in this business has an equally important part to play, and it’s because of this collective effort that we’re regularly hitting profitability, maintaining fantastic customer satisfaction results, and upholding brilliant quality scores.🥰 What really stood out at the party was the camaraderie. It’s inspiring to see a team that not only works hard together but genuinely enjoys each other’s company. Our culture is something special, and it’s a huge part of what makes this place so rewarding to be part of.🚀 A big thank you to everyone for making this year such a success. We have turned the business around 🚀. It was not long ago we had £1m a MONTH burn 🔥 😳 🌟✨ What a legendary soirée! Our amazing Habitonians, the fabulous Dame Kelly Holmes and industry friends enjoying an epic Yam Seng ( alcoholic and non ! ) toast, awards, fun and games, delicious food, rap battles and some questionable dancing 🕺 💃. The party that (almost) had it all. I had the absolute pleasure of making my debut at the Habito Annual Awards & Christmas Party last week. We had games, great food, a few drinks and even a magician… not to mention an Olympic gold medallist! A personal high point was the DJ rolling back the years with some old school garage tunes and our fantastic table host Raj Bathia jumping on the mic! Will Rhind even managed to get me on the dance floor at one stage! Big thanks to Penny Desborough & Ying Tan for a great night, good luck topping that next year! Sara Palmer and I were delighted that The Mortgage Lender (TML) were Highly Commended in the Emerging Lender category and whilst I didn’t win the Top Account Manager award it was great to be on the list with BDMs from some powerhouse lenders. Congratulations to my ex TSB Bank colleague Sophie Carter who was truly deserving of the win. It was a pleasure to present Roy Kea… sorry Richard Fernandes with his Trailblazer award. Finally I have to give a shoutout to Teddy Cenaj, Jamie Gardner & Lizzie Markham in the specialist team for all of your support this year 💙
