GREET CE - Green transition in Central Europe
Business Consulting and Services
We focus on increasing the capacity of regional innovation ecosystem in less developed Central European regions.
About us
The Greet CE project focuses on the green transition in Central Europe, aiming to increase the capacity of regional innovation ecosystems, especially SMEs, in less developed Central European regions. The project is funded under the Interregional Innovation Investments Instrument and focuses primarily on green transition within the bioeconomy sector. Key objectives include fostering bioeconomy investments, facilitating interoperation in EU value chains, and enhancing interactive training and education opportunities. The project aims to unlock innovation potential, facilitate SME participation in I3 calls, and increase innovation investment. The project will provide support for building, structuring, and connecting innovation ecosystems, focusing on circular economy opportunities and value chains in the soil-water-food-energy-wood nexus. This will involve fostering natural science, digitalization, and social and business innovation. Policies, action plans, and roadmaps will be produced with appropriate methodology and documentation, while communication activities will develop a professional identity for the project, enhance networking, external communication, visibility, and coherent communications. Results will be disseminated, and awareness of the project will be raised to ensure its long-term impact and continuation.

🌍♨️ Exploring the Power of Geothermal Energy in Central Europe! GREET CE project partner Falcon-Vision Hungary joined forces with fellow I3 2b project GREET GEO to co-organize an online event exploring the potential of shallow and deep geothermal energy for district heating in Sárvár, Hungary. This collaboration marks the launch of GREET GEO, officially started on 1 November, and led by EIHP - Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, a GREET CE consortium member. The project focuses on building regional innovation ecosystems, supporting SMEs, and unlocking the geothermal potential of regions like the Pannonian Basin. Sárvár, known for its geothermal spa and member of the Vas County Association of Industrialists (an ASP of GREET CE), served as the perfect case study for this exciting discussion. 👏 A huge thank you to partners like EMEF and the Hungarian Geothermal Association for their valuable contributions to advancing green energy transitions! #GeothermalEnergy #GREETCE #InnovationEcosystems #GreenTransition #Sustainability #CentralEurope
