The election outcome may shift the focus from electrification and CARB, but emissions reporting isn’t going away. While the focus may shift to rolling back electrification mandates, regulations like California’s SB 253 and Europe’s CSRD aren’t changing. Starting FY 2025, these policies will require companies to disclose Scope 3 emissions—which include emissions from their supply chain partners like you. Here’s the kicker: Even if your fleet isn’t directly impacted, your shippers are. They’ll need your emissions data to meet their compliance requirements. If your customers are impacted, so are you. Reporting accurate fleet emissions data will be critical to maintaining those relationships and winning future contracts. Are you ready to meet these demands? With automation, you can stay ahead without the burden of manual processes. Read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/e8sBkcH5

As sustainability reporting demands grow, internal teams are being stretched thin by manual processes that are inefficient and error-prone. The traditional spreadsheet-based systems require significant time and expertise, leaving organizations struggling to keep up with customer requests and regulatory demands. Automating these processes is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity for efficiency and accuracy. The industry needs to streamline operations or risk falling behind. How are you managing this workload?

Greentown Labs Climatetech Summit Boston 2024 was buzzing with energy as climate tech companies, corporate partners, investors, and environmental champions got together for a jam packed day of collaboration! Starting off with insightful remarks from Amazon's Chief Sustainability Officer Kara H. Hurst, who shared her innovative approach to integrating climate solutions. Followed by a rockstar panel of government champions Jane Chen, Jeff Marootian, Leslie Nash, and Christian Vandervort, who underscored the importance of private-public collaboration in commercializing technology, in a challenging economic and political environment. I was honored to exhibit GreenIRR Inc. to an audience of change makers, doers, and above all else climate enthusiasts. As regulations drip down into the beginning of 2025 the need for a streamlined emission reporting process is growing. Even more so, carbon accounting solutions that are vertical specific. Cheers to my friends at Greentown Labs, partners, and colleagues I got to see last week! Let's keep going.
