Here’s what they had to say at Sports Business Journal’s annual Intercollegiate Athletics Forum: 👑 Content is king, but content packaging & distribution is key. Fans and brands are hungry for more content, but it must be strategic.   • CREATIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PARTNERSHIP ACTIVATION As part of their 'Slam Night,' the Brooklyn Nets outfitted several players in t-shirts showing some classic Slam Magazine covers, an excellent example of utilizing arrivals as a valuable asset. This is the kind of content players love to post themselves, too! When considering a comprehensive partnership like a themed game night, leverage those live mobile content capture franchises, with player arrivals in this example (and a consistent performer). The earned media potential from player sharing can augment the value tremendously, too!

At this weekend’s championship game, the Big Ten Conference, along with its broadcast and operations partners for the event, will use Greenfly’s UGC collection tool +Engage. With it, they'll gather fan videos and photos to feature on the Big Ten’s social media channels throughout the weekend. By making it easy for supporters to share their photos and videos, the Big Ten is creating deeper connections and authentic stories that celebrate the passion of their community.
