Our Artesia Branch is helping a community in need. On Sunday October 20th extreme flooding caused by heavy rainfall gripped the city of Roswell NM causing untold damage and even the tragic loss of life. The lesser-known town of Dexter, NM, with a population of just over a thousand residents, was also struck by this devastating flood. Dexter didn’t have the same media coverage as Roswell, and this small community doesn’t have the resources of other bigger towns. Hundreds of people were left with severe damage to their property, and many are now homeless. The Gravity Artesia branch was able to provide needed supplies to help with the cleanup for this small community. In situations of disaster, every bit helps, and the smallest kindness is felt further than we will know. Anna Chaney, Terry Bogle, and their crew of volunteers at the First Presbyterian Church were able to collect what the Artesia branch donated, and they distributed it to those in need. Dexter is recovering from the devastating flooding that shook this small town, but it will take time and hard work. It is an honor to be part of an organization that shows support for those in their time in need. We are honored to give back to the community and a special thanks to Michael Steed, Teryl Andersen and Jonathan Hogan for helping to coordinate this effort.

We would like to congratulate our employees for achieving an important safety milestone - One Million Man Hours of No Recordable Incidents! Our Vice President of HSE, Sam Bedell states, "A variety of factors have contributed to our success in reaching this milestone, including pre-job planning, coaching, and closing risk gaps. This dedication has provided Gravity with continuous improvement through increased safety, reliability, and productivity. This makes it easier to get it right and harder to get it wrong. Your hard work has helped develop a culture where everyone believes all incidents and operating disruptions are preventable and that “zero incidents” are possible."
