The recent tragic killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO, Brian Thompson – on his way to an investor day – has left many in the governance community shaken. Our thoughts are with all those affected at this time, and while such events are rare and unexpected, they are a stark reminder of the heightened security risks companies and their executives face. We thought it was important to provide some guidance about the security factors teams should be aware of when on the road, or attending events with high-profile executives.
