We've all heard about Turkey Trots, but what about a 5K under holiday lights?! We partnered with the Elkhart County 4-H Fair to bring you this unique run. Participants will run a route illuminated throughout the fairgrounds with sparkling lights and themed decorations. This 5K is open to people of all ages and skill levels. Costumes are encouraged! After being diagnosed with peripheral artery disease, Angie knew something needed to change. Her doctor, Nathaniel Dew, suggested some lifestyle changes, including quitting her 30-year smoking habit, losing weight and becoming more active. Today, she's lost 50 pounds and kicked her smoking habit (with the help of the Goshen Heart & Vascular smoking cessation program). She is now more active and is on her way to a healthier version of herself. A lot sure has changed in the past 111 years! Goshen Hospital opened its doors for the first time on Nov. 29, 1913, with a capacity of only 25 beds. We look forward to see what challenges and changes we'll face as we continue to serve our community into the future!
