About us
We believe everyone deserves affordable and convenient healthcare. Our mission is to build better ways for people to find the right care at the best price. Our technology gives all Americans — regardless of income or insurance status — the knowledge, choice, and care they need to stay healthy. GoodRx supports all Americans with their healthcare challenges. Since 2011, we’ve helped Americans save over $35 billion on prescriptions via savings cards, our website, and the GoodRx app, which is one of the most downloaded medical apps on both the Google Play and Apple App Store. We’re a customer-first company. That means making sure all our products and features are built around you. This approach guides how we operate, make decisions across our businesses, and work on new ideas for our customers. In 2021, an estimated 46 million U.S. adults were not able to afford needed care. We’re working to narrow this access gap. We have saved Americans over $30 billion on their medications.

From coast to coast, our employees came together to support their communities in meaningful ways. In San Francisco, our employees assembled 100 hygiene kits for Simply the Basics, providing essential items to those in need. At our New York hub, employees created sensory toy kits for children with autism from the Brooklyn Institute, spreading smiles and comfort. In Seattle, we had a team participate in the Cinematique community event with Essex Community Outreach, helping to distribute vital health resources for families in need. In Los Angeles, our employees donated toys and attended the Winter Wonderland Community Event, hosted by Be Social Productions, bringing health screenings, community resources, and holiday cheer to more than 800 families. Across the country, our remote GoodRx'ers recorded audiobooks for hospitalized children, sharing stories and hope during challenging times. We’re proud to see our team living out our values and making a difference. Here’s to a joyful holiday season and to building healthier, happier communities—together. 💛

The news is out: I’ll be embarking on a thrilling new journey next month as president and CEO at GoodRx. For many years, I have admired GoodRx for the company’s simple, yet powerful value proposition – to make it easier for Americans to save time and money when filling their medications. Throughout my career in healthcare, my motivation has always been to improve the patient experience, and I’m honored to take the helm at a company doing just that. GoodRx sits at a unique intersection within the broader healthcare ecosystem, collaborating with pharmacies, PBMs, pharmaceutical manufacturers and others. I’ve worked for and with many of these organizations and understand that innovation in healthcare is often nuanced and complex. As I step into this role, my goal is clear: to make GoodRx the complement to insurance that fills in the gaps the system doesn’t cover. I want to express my gratitude to Scott Wagner for his leadership and vision as Interim CEO, and to Trevor Bezdek and doug hirsch for building a purpose-driven company that prioritizes transparency and savings so patients can access the treatments they need to stay healthy. Prescriptions for Wegovy from Novo Nordisk have increased by 100%; meanwhile, prescriptions for Zepbound from Lilly have increased by 300%, according to GoodRx Research. “People tend to assume, ‘I have insurance, I’m covered, I’m going to be paying my normal co-pay.’ And that doesn’t seem to be the case, unfortunately, for these medications,” GoodRx director of research Tori Marsh told Marketplace by APM. However, patients can save an average of $250 per month, or $3,000 annually, on commonly prescribed GLP-1 and GIP medications with GoodRx. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e34dy4_D

Demand for popular weight loss meds is not slowing down, but a new data tracker from my team at GoodRx shows how difficult they still are to access and afford. Fills for medications like Wegovy and Zepbound soared in 2024 by more than 100% and 300%, respectively. But in the last year, Americans have overspent by at least $200 million by paying full price for these popular weight loss medications and not utilizing savings available through sites like GoodRx. Even going through insurance can come with high out-of-pocket costs and/or restrictions. Making these medications more affordable and accessible is key, both to getting – and keeping – people on the medications they need. At GoodRx we’re doing this by making it easier for people (85% of whom already have a prescription in hand) to uncover manufacturer savings and copay cards for GIP and GLP-1 agonists. But there’s still so much more we can do as an industry. https://lnkd.in/eEXW972u #GoodRx #WeightLossMedications #GLP1

“It’s just a pretty astronomical increase in sales, and because of that, a lot of eyes are on them around their affordability and accessibility,” GoodRx director of research Tori Marsh told CNBC. People without insurance can save an average of $250 monthly, or $3,000 annually, using GoodRx. In the past year, Americans have overspent by at least $200 million by paying full retail price for GIP and GLP-1 agonists.
