This is an important move by the FMCSA to give fleets more control over their safety rating and highlight the critical role that video plays in managing a fleet!
A major upgrade to the FMCSA’s Crash Preventability Determination Program (CPDP) gives fleets new ways to improve safety records, lower CSA scores and challenge unfair crash determinations. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: • Four new crash types, including video-supported incidents, are now eligible for review. • Video evidence takes center stage, enabling more accurate, data-driven outcomes. • Expanded eligibility for multi-vehicle and other crash categories. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Fleets equipped with dashcams and connected telematics have a clear advantage under the new rules. Learn more about these updates and how HDVI can help you prepare on the HDVI blog: https://lnkd.in/eEeqpGWF #FleetManagement #FMCSA #CPDP #CrashPrevention #DashCams #Telematics #HDVI

This year, HDVI partnered with Federato to streamline our underwriting process, cutting quote time by 75%—over two weeks saved! In case you missed it, watch this October video to learn more.
When High Definition Vehicle Insurance (HDVI) codified their underwriting process into Action Center, Federato’s workflow automation system, they programmed 30 rules into their submission intake. With these first 30 rules, HDVI captured more than 95% of recommended declines and referrals, saving their underwriting team a huge amount of time on submission analysis, contributing to a 68% improvement in speed to quote. How much time do your underwriters spend poring over of pages of guidelines? Get a demo to see how you can relieve them from the tedium and set them free to do the work they do best: https://lnkd.in/gy5weSNJ
