GLY has enjoyed presenting a variety of topics at many University of Washington Construction Management classes over the years for both the certificate* and undergraduate programs. Our most recent visit was extra special! On December 2, GLY Senior Estimator David C. marked 13 years of guest lecturing for the certificate's CM410 [Estimating] class—a milestone that coincides with Affiliate Instructor Dave Westmoreland LEED AP's final year teaching the course after 17 incredible years. Co-Instructor Natalie Cunningham also brought her trademark energy to the classroom, rounding out a memorable session. A heartfelt thank-you to David W. for shaping so many students into industry professionals. Your impact is immeasurable! Look for David W. in the classroom again a few years from now…as he hopes to return to teaching once he retires. *What is the UW CM Certificate Program? The UW Construction Management Certificate Program equips professionals with the skills to excel in today’s dynamic construction industry. Designed for those with at least five years of experience, the program offers comprehensive training in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and contracts.
