Gibbons has once again been named the "Legal Partner of the Year" by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL). #IFEL is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 to “eradicate the systemic barriers that prevent people from historically excluded populations from accessing the knowledge, networks, and capital required for #entrepreneurial success and wealth creation.” Among the firm’s many #probono and #diversity initiatives, this award relates to our partnership with IFEL’s “Small Businesses Need Us” program, launched in 2020 initially to assist women and minority small business owners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and now focusing more broadly on wide-ranging services for these business owners. Gibbons Director and Chief Diversity Officer Robert Johnson accepted the award on behalf of the firm at a virtual event.
