🚀 Case Study: 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐨-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧-𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐅𝐃𝐌) 𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 Building accurate low-frequency models (LFMs) is critical for seismic inversions, especially in areas with complex geology. Traditional approaches often rely on sparse well-log data, leading to interpolation challenges and biases. This case study explores how Facies-Driven Modeling (FDM) and Bayesian inference transform the process of creating LFMs—eliminating the need for well-log interpolation and delivering more accurate reservoir property predictions. By incorporating uncertainties into Bayesian analysis and leveraging FDM workflows, we achieved: ✅ Precise mapping of reservoir properties and lithofacies. ✅ Probability-based net-pay estimates that align with geological realities. ✅ A reliable approach to risk assessment for potential drilling locations.
