The Need is Urgent, Yet Often Overlooked Childhood poverty is a widespread issue that often goes unnoticed. Families across the country struggle to make ends meet, living on less than $26,500 a year. In Massachusetts, over a third of children face low-income or homeless conditions, while Philadelphia has the highest poverty rate among major cities, with three out of five children living in poverty. Despite these challenges, our offices in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania have come together to donate over 250 items to Cradles to Crayons. Through online and in-person donations, we are making a difference in the lives of children in need in our communities.
