So excited to have Kavinayan Sivakumar join as a founding member of Garden’s research team. I heard about Kavin through Princeton friends as one of the brightest, but also nicest people they had met. After finishing his undergraduate engineering degree, Kavin got his Ph.D. at Duke doing advanced robotics and computer vision research. His background fascinated me immediately because applied research requires rigorous iteration and problem solving. Over the last few weeks, we got a chance to meet Kavin and spend time with him, where he absolutely blew us away with his test project. Given that I personally interviewed dozens of qualified candidates after receiving over a thousand applications for this role, Justin and I knew Kavin was a fit because of one core asset: customer obsession. The basis of our research team at Garden is really centered around delivering exceptional results and a fantastic product suite for our customers grounded in the latest advancements in machine learning and AI. I am deeply honored and excited to have Kavin join the Garden team to deliver superior outcomes for our customers. Welcome Kavin!

Garden is home to a bunch of competitive gamers. We love poker, Diplomacy, Call of Duty, Risk, chess, etc. That's why I'm so excited about this next event we are having. Come stop by our NYC office next Tuesday (11/19) evening for an off-the-record fireside chat with American Chess Grandmaster Hans Niemann! We will have snacks and drinks. Trust me, it will be very EV positive ;)

Garden had a fantastic time at IP Dealmakers in Miami last week. Really enjoyed sharing some remarks as chair after the great Alfred R. Fabricant and moderating a panel with Andrew Cooper, Bridget Smith, and Jon Waldrop. Thank you Wendy Wei Chou and Aaron Rawcliffe for organizing and hosting us. Thank you to our friends and customers for joining us: Alfonso Chan, Jay Kesan, Lissi Mojica, and Shane Brun. We are in a new era: politically, technologically, and legally. It’s time to strap in and think outside the box. Team Garden is ready to serve. cc Max Yuan Maddy Sivakumar Justin Mack

I didn't completely mess up last time at IP Dealmakers. Nope, I've been invited back, and I'll be swimming with the sharks in Miami from November 6-8. I hope to see you there to: 📈 Get deals done. 🎤 Engage on this year’s hottest IP topics. 👥 Rub elbows with the Who’s Who of IP (and me ... the Who's Who adjacent, who steals all the heavy hors d'oeuvres and admires the Rolexes and Armani suits from afar 🤩). I hope you stick around to the bitter end and join my panel on TRADE SECRETS: THE BLUEPRINT FROM PROTECTION TO MONETIZATION with Adi Sidapara (Co-Founder & CEO at Garden); Andrew Cooper (AGC and Head of Patent Acquisitions at Meta); and Jon Waldrop (Partner & Head, IP Group at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP). TY, Aaron Rawcliffe & Wendy Wei Chou for another amazing event. https://lnkd.in/gH_5wg2n

Imagine a completely new way to do an ongoing freedom-to-operate analysis. One in which you upload free-form invention disclosures that get broken down into inventive concepts which you can edit. The system then performs a thorough prior art analysis covering the specification, figures, and claims alike across all filing offices globally. After which, the system analyzes all the prior art and the inventive concepts synchronously. The end product is a final grid with a summary of the relevant excerpts across the landscape in a succinct summary along with detailed explanations for each element and relevant prior art. Garden is rolling a beta version for our tool at the end of next week with some of our closest customers. If you're interested, please message me or email me at adi@gardenintel.com.
