This past weekend, Galls was honored to sponsor the 5th Annual Force on the Course Golf Scramble at Tates Creek Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky. Hosted by the Do Something Extraordinary (DSE) Golf Club, the event brought together about 35-40 local elementary school students with members of the National Guard, local law enforcement, and veterans for a day of community connection, learning, and fun. This year’s event took the DSE program to new heights, inviting kids from two elementary schools, a foster program, and their families to connect with first responders and learn about the role of technology and teamwork in keeping our community safe. Through hands-on STEM activities and conversations with first responders, students gained valuable insights into the work these local heroes perform every day. The proceeds from this event help to provide golf equipment for underprivileged youth, giving them a unique opportunity to learn and play the game. Galls was also honored to receive the Extraordinary Partner Award, presented to Joseph Miller and Graham Hensley MBA Hensley by Shane Burks II, MBA , director of the DSE Golf Club. We are proud to support initiatives that foster connections and make a lasting impact. The Galls team had the privilege of attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2024 Conference in Boston recently. It was an inspiring event filled with meaningful conversations, innovative product showcases, and invaluable connections with public safety leaders committed to serving their communities. This year’s IACP was our biggest yet, with over 16,000 attendees and more than 600 exhibitors showcasing innovative products and solutions. We were thrilled to see many familiar faces and introduce our latest offerings alongside trusted partners like Fechheimer, 5.11 Tactical, Point Blank Enterprises, Inc., LION Uniforms featuring Elbeco, and Under Armour. Our booth featured a live caricature artist for some added fun and memorable takeaways! Highlights from the week included: 🎉 Co-sponsoring an Event at Fenway Park with our partner Lion Elbeco, creating an unforgettable night for attendees at Boston’s historic ballpark. 🎸 A fantastic event at MJ O’Connor’s Seaport with live music from Mike Carr, food, and a raffle that drew a great crowd. We appreciate everyone who came by to join us in celebrating this occasion. 👏 Recognition for Excellence: A special moment during the event was when Lou Jaeger of Galls was presented with a prestigious award from the Law Enforcement Association of Asian Pacifics (LEAAP). The award was presented at our booth by LAPD Commanders Steve Embrich and Jon Tom, making it a truly memorable occasion. 🎶 And, of course, an incredible Chiefs Night Concert at the iconic TD Garden , home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics.
