"Attorney Corinne Sebren represented the Howtopat family. As part of the settlement, Klickitat County also committed to improved medical and mental health care, including screening and monitoring the people held in jail for opioid withdrawal and suicide risk.... Our law firm has exposed what one Washington state legislator calls a “fraud” upon federal, state, and tribal governments and thousands of Indigenous people.

"'WSHFC has continually claimed or feigned that it lacks authority to enforce the eventual tenant ownership program or its agreements,' Gabriel S. Galanda told the committee Wednesday.
