Another year comes to an end. Today I had the opportunity to do some professional reflections on several 2024 milestones. There are many, but I would like to highlight one above all, our AG Solution Quality Plan. We are a digital solutions provider that regularly sees recurring and new problems in different customers who are digitizing their industry. Being a value-oriented company, we focus on understanding what most manufacturers struggle with. A good example is code management and code repository for different solutions in the MOM (MES or data solutions) space. Everyone has the same problem. But what are the design parameters to avoid this problem and avoid technical debt? Are solution providers consolidating all these information from investments and project experiences? I would be more than happy to discuss devops and source code control with our consultants. However, that's not the point. The point is... how can we aggregate & leverage all these learnings? The AG Solution Quality plan aggregates all of our best practices that digital manufacturing requires for a successful digital transformation. Both technical and management practices. 2024 – what a year! As we bid farewell to 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year gone by for Novo Nordisk Odense As Project Director for Site Odense, I can confidently say that this year ended on a (very) high note. 1 week ago, we officially announced our project, and it has been so amazing – and slightly daunting – finally go live and to receive all your positive feedback and well wishes. Stakeholders, co-workers, and media alike. Thank you for receiving us so well. I promise that we will do our utmost to live up to your expectations 👍 😀 🚀   We had a huge year even before we ‘made it official’. This summer we purchased our land plot just east of Odense city in Tietgenbyen, and soon after we started the work on site to prepare for what we plan to build. In Novo Nordisk we have strong ambitions with regards to protecting the nature and biodiversity on our sites, and in Odense we are not only taking vast measures to preserve our surrounding nature and wildlife, but we have also made choices to make sure our buildings are built with as sustainable materials as possible 🌲 🌻 🦇 Reflecting on this year, it’s been a busy, but a fun one. I am full of ambition and excitement for what we need to do, and in awe of all the talented people that I get to share this journey with. I can’t wait for all the great things we will do in 2025, and for me to get to know the vibrant business community in Odense much better 🏙️   First, I think some time to enjoy the festive season with family and friends is in order.
