    Recently, my daughter applied for a leadership position in one of the service youth clubs she's a part of. She was so excited, working on her speech and looking forward to presenting it to her peers.  After picking her up on the big day, I asked, “How did it go?”  Her response surprised me:   "My friend had a better speech—it was fancier. She used ChatGPT. She’ll probably win." And guess what? Her friend DID win.  As a mom, my first thought was, “That’s not fair! How can AI win against being genuine?” But I quickly caught myself.
