Before the Holidays we were honored to take part in feeding the troops along side of HJ’s Wings and Things in Atlanta, GA. Delta bussed in 1,500 Privates from Eisenhower and Fort Moore to the Atlanta airport to go home on their leave for Christmas. Delta set up a military lounge where the men and woman could relax, eat, sleep, and find entertainment before their flight home. HJ’s Wings and Things placed their food truck on the tarmac and fried chicken for us to build sandwiches to feed the troops.   Our team was honored to be a part of this event. Not only did we get the opportunity to meet amazing men and woman and give our time to a worthy cause, but it gave us a feeling of gratitude and appreciation. We can not thank the men and woman who serve our country enough for all they do for us each day. We were honored to do our small part in making their holidays a little bit brighter!

Several of our team members, including our Senior Leadership Team recently attended the Impact Leadership Conference at Highlands College in Birmingham, Alabama. The theme this year was “Authentic Leadership Starts with You.”   The event was hosted by Highlands College and sponsored by Founders Advisors. It featured several fantastic speakers including John Maxwell and Ed Mylett. The conference focused on inspiring and equipping us with the tools and insights needed to drive impactful change in our field. Highlands College develops and invests in leaders and wants to make American’s top leadership experts available.   FSE was proud to be a sponsor of this great event. Not only did we learn from our time there but we spent valuable time with our team and colleagues. The holiday season is a time of giving, remembrance, and reflection. One of the ways we give back during this time is by donating to and volunteering with Wreaths Across America. This is an incredible nationwide effort that ensures every veteran's resting place is honored and remembered. This month we had the honor to place beautiful Christmas wreaths on fallen soldiers’ graves in East Tennessee.  FSE is honored to sponsor The National Wreaths Across America organization every year. Their mission is to remember the fallen and to teach the next generation the value of freedom.
